Who controls your data

Gil Luxenbourg is the named contact for every privacy question, access request and deletion request, and is the designated privacy contact for the purposes of Israel's Protection of Privacy Law and Quebec's Law 25.

What this site collects

This site exists to give away Module 1 of a course and to sell the rest of it. The data footprint is deliberately small.

  • Your email address, when you ask for the free module or buy the course.
  • Your first name, if you give it. It is optional.
  • Which modules you have opened and completed, so the course knows where you left off and so a certificate can be issued in your name.
  • Payment confirmation from PayPal. We never see or store your card number.
  • Your answers to the quizzes and the final examination, so the pass mark can be applied.

We do not collect health information on this site, we do not ask what condition you or your patients have, and we do not want to know.

What this site does not do

No analytics. No advertising pixels. No retargeting. No visitor tracking of any kind. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to. The only cookies are the ones the course platform needs to keep you logged in, the one PayPal needs to take a payment, and the one YouTube sets if you press play on a video.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Not to anyone, not ever.

Why we are allowed to hold it

  • Your consent, for marketing email. You gave it by ticking a box, and you can withdraw it in one click.
  • Performing our contract with you, for anything you bought and for running the course.
  • Our legitimate interest, for keeping the site secure and preventing fraud.

Who else touches it

  • systeme.io hosts this site, the course and the email list.
  • PayPal processes payments under its own terms.
  • YouTube serves the videos, in privacy-enhanced mode, and sets nothing until you press play.

Some of these providers store data outside Israel and the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or the provider's own approved transfer mechanism.

How long we keep it

  • Course accounts and completion records: for as long as you have access, so your certificate stays verifiable.
  • Payment records: seven years, because Israeli tax law requires it.
  • Marketing list: until you unsubscribe, and then only a suppression record so we never email you again by accident.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you gave. Write to gil@wizdomcircles.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We answer within 30 days.

EU, EEA and UK. You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.

United States. Depending on your state you may have rights to know, correct, delete, port, and to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising. We do none of those three, so there is nothing to opt out of. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. We do not discriminate against anyone who exercises a privacy right.

Canada. PIPEDA applies. If you are in Quebec, Law 25 applies and you may additionally request anonymisation or de-indexing.

Israel. Your rights under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, as amended by Amendment 13, apply in full.

Marketing email

We only email marketing to people who actively ticked a box asking for it. We keep a record of when you ticked it, from which page, and the exact wording you were shown. Every marketing email identifies the sender, carries a postal address, and unsubscribes you in one click. If you unsubscribe we do not add you back without fresh, explicit consent.

Security

Access to the systeme.io account is protected by two-factor authentication. Data is encrypted in transit. Only Gil has access.

Children

This course is built for licensed practitioners and health coaches. It is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will date the change at the top and, if the change affects how we use data you already gave us, tell the people it affects by email.
